EMDR Group Supervision

I am an EMDR (trauma) Consultant/Supervisor accredited by EMDR Europe and the EMDR Association UK and Ireland. I offer group supervision for 2-4 therapists. Frequency of group supervision is usually every 4-6 weeks. I supervision clinicians who work in the NHS, in independent practice and in other organisations such as charities..

EMDR group supervision provides an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of EMDR therapy and to develop clinical skills by learning from each other. It also provides mutual support and encouragement for therapists working in the same organisational context.

CBT Group Supervision

I am a BABCP Accredited CBT Supervisor and am on the Register of the British Psychological Society for Applied Psychological Supervisors. I have extensive experience of CBT group supervision and have worked with Counselling and Clinical Psychology doctoral level trainees, CBT trainees and psychotherapists, social workers and community psychiatric nurses. CBT group supervision provides support to trainees and qualified therapists as they learn and develop their expertise in this model. The structure of CBT group supervision also mirrors the structure of CBT therapy: it uses an agenda, a process of mutual feedback and between-session tasks to develop skills and understanding. As supervision progresses, patterns emerge and confidence in using the CBT model deepens.
