Personal Approach

believe that a therapeutic relationship of trust and collaboration is at the heart of psychotherapy. Successful therapy involves finding a way of thinking together about whatever difficulties are present and discovering choices about possible ways forward. My work is informed by a knowledge of current research and what types of psychotherapy and interventions are effective for specific problems and ways of being in the world.

I consider that choice is very important and I therefore offer a range of therapies: EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and Mindfulness. I also offer Clinical Supervision to a range of health professionals. I am committed to my own learning and Continuing Professional Development and attend additional trainings on a regular basis. I also seek feedback from clients and supervisees in order to improve and develop the service I offer.
